Freshman and transfer students may apply by contacting at university office or online via our website.
- Be sure to review and comply with all application requirements.
- Students should APPLY BEFORE September 1 for the first semester; APPLY BEFORE January 1 for the spring semester. Moreover the Summer Class BEFORE June 1 for the Summer Session.

Our rolling admissions process allows us to evaluate applications as they are received. Applications for Admission are financial aid are made on a first come and first-served basis.
Your application will be evaluated and you will be notified once we receive your completed application, test scores, transcripts, application fee, recommendations, and other.

It’s easy, apply any time after your junior year in high school.
- Transfer Students– If you’ve completed 4 or more transferable semester hours, with a minimum 2.0 GPA, you can apply to Afgoi International University as a transfer student.
- Graduate Admissions– Graduate degree programs are designed for professionals employed in the fields of Agriculture and Veterinary, Political Science, Business and Economics, Law, Health Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences and Education.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
(a) A candidate shall be deemed eligible for consideration for admission to a first degree programme at the University if the candidate has obtained:
(i) The Somalis Certificate of Education with a minimum of 5 Passes or an equivalent qualification, and
(ii) At least two Advanced Level Passes in approved subjects at the same sitting of the Somalia Advance Level Certificate of Education Examination (A’Level) or an equivalent qualification.
For purposes of this regulation, except where otherwise provided for, all subjects offered by the Ministry of Education & Higher Education of Federal Government Somali and regarded as approved certificates.
(b) College/School requirements.Within the framework of the General Direct Entry Requirements, there may be special College/School requirements which candidates must fulfil to gain admission to a programme in a specific academic unit.
